REGINA, SK – Reilley Kotai led the way with two goals and an assist as the Melfort Mustangs won their eighth in a row with a 5-1 victory over the Estevan Bruins Wednesday.
Kristian Coombs stopped 21 shots for the defending champs to earn his league-leading 11th goaltender victory, while Ben Polhill made 25 saves for the Bruins.
It was the lone contest of the night in the league.
