The Melfort Mustangs are proud to announce that forward Reilley Kotai has committed to the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds for the 2025–26 U SPORTS season.
Kotai joined the Mustangs for his 20-year-old season and made an immediate and lasting impact. A natural goal scorer with a high compete level, Kotai led the Mustangs offensively throughout the 2024–25 campaign. In 53 regular season games, he tallied an impressive 39 goals and 38 assists, finishing with 77 points to lead the league in scoring.
The Melfort Mustangs organization congratulates Reilley Kotai on this exciting opportunity and thanks him for his outstanding contributions during his time in Melfort. We wish Reilley all the best in his future and look forward to following his success at the University of British Columbia.
