WEYBURN, SK – The Melfort Mustangs are one game away.

Kristian Coombs stopped 28 of 29 Weyburn shots, and Melfort had five different goal scorers en route to a 5-1 win and a 3-1 Canterra Seeds Cup Final series lead in Game 4 Thursday.

Zac Somers tipped in the game-winner from a Nicholas Andrusiak point shot at the 9:34 mark of the second period.

Ty Thornton added the insurance goal on a nifty give-and-go with Somers with under 10 minutes remaining in regulation.

Max Chakrabarti notched Weyburn’s lone tally of the night, sniping home a nice feed from Cyprus Smith-Davis to tie the game at one at 16:29 of the opening frame.
