REGINA, SK – In a game with four lead changes and seven third-period goals, the Melfort Mustangs prevailed 8-6 over the Battlefords North Stars Tuesday night.
Zayden Sadlemyer and Reilley Kotai both counted hat tricks for the Mustangs, while Jordan Grill led the way with a pair for Battlefords.
David Coyle scored his seventh goal and 12th point in four games in a row as the Yorkton Terriers outlasted the La Ronge Ice Wolves 3-1.
The victory moved the Terriers one point ahead of idle Weyburn for third place in the SJHL and clinched Yorkton’s playoff spot.
