It was a day/night double header in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Wednesday as the Estevan Bruins hosted their first ever “Hooky for Hockey” game at Affinity Place to kick off the day and then the Battlefords North Stars collided with the Melfort Mustangs at the Northern Lights Palace.

Thursday will be an off day for the league on the ice, but action will resume on Friday with five games on the schedule to kick off the weekend.
