The Division rival Humboldt Broncos and Notre Dame Hounds made a deal this past off season which saw Saskatoon product Kaleb Dahlgren go from Wilcox to Humboldt, and he wasted no time reacquainting himself with his former club. The two clubs squared off in their traditional opening weekend home-and-home, and the now 20-year-old opened the scoring in the season opener in Humboldt, before tying the game the next night in Notre Dame with just one second left, and scoring the winner in the shootout. Dahlgren had 7 goals last season in Notre Dame, and 8 the year before. He appears well on his way to establishing a new career-high.
