Damian Bentz scored three goals and added two assists and his line combined for five goals and 11-points as the Melville Millionaires picked up a big 6-3 home ice win over the Kindersley Klippers on Wednesday night.

Linemates Luke Spadafora and Josh Borynec each added a goal and two assists to Bentz's five point effort, while Jaden Shewchuk rounded out the scoring and Colby Entz made 38/41 saves.

The Millionaires (15-24-3-3) are now two points up on Weyburn for the final playoff spot while the Red Wings have one game in hand.

Kindersley had a pair of leads in the first period thanks to goals from Austin Nault and Blake Kleiner.  Cameron Shorrock added one more in the second.  The Klippers (27-12-3-2) remain tied with Humboldt for the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division lead and now have three games in hand.  The Broncos are off until next Wednesday while the Klippers will make up two more of those games in hand on Friday and Saturday after a day off as they'll stick around to face Yorkton and Melville one more time.

Thursday's action sees the Notre Dame Hounds open a three games in three nights trip in La Ronge.  The Hounds are 9th in the overall standings and will follow Thursday's game with visits to Flin Flon and Nipawin.
