The puck drops on the 23/24 SJHL regular season in 10 days and the season previews continue today with a look at the Nipawin Hawks.
Nipawin returned to the post-season last year as the Hawks finished 7th in the SJHL with a 26-24-5-1 good for 58 points.
Unfortunately for the Hawks, they would be eliminated in five games in the opening round of the playoffs by the Humboldt Broncos.
However, with a strong group of returning players, Head Coach and General Manager Tad Kozun and company are hoping to take the next step this season.
SJHL Director of Media Jeromy Corrigan sat down with the Hawks bench boss to get his thoughts on the upcoming season and what he expects for his 2nd full season as Head Coach of his hometown team.
