REGINA, SK – The Battlefords North Stars rallied with four straight, including three in the third period, to edge the Nipawin Hawks 6-5 at the Access Communications Centre Tuesday.

Captain Anthony Campbell, freshly back from the 2026 Viking Cup, keyed the comeback with two goals and an assist, while Josh Knittig’s shorthanded goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation stood up as the winner.

Ashton Tait scored a pair in his return to the Nipawin line-up after a month out.

This was the third matchup of the year between these clubs, and in those games, they have scored a combined 29 goals.
