The Norwich University Cadets has become a prime and popular landing spot for SJHL players looking to further their schooling and hockey careers.
The NCAA Division III school located in Northfield, Vermont, has been a perennial juggernaut over the past two decades, and are the defending Division III National Champions.
When the Cadets kick off their regular season schedule the weekend of October 21/22, they’ll do so with no less than nine SJHL alumni, including graduating sniper Coby Downs from Battlefords.
The full list of nine (as shown left to right in the attached photo), are: Michael Korol (Humboldt), Josh Cronin (Humboldt), Coby Downs (Battlefords), Alec Brandrup (Melville), Jordan Greenfield-Flemon (Notre Dame), David Robertson (Estevan), Ian Williams (Notre Dame), Connor Swystun (Humboldt), & Jake Erickson (Battlefords).
Graduating from last season’s Norwich squad was Ty Reichenbach, another former Notre Dame goaltender.

Attached is a photo of nine SJHL players that are on our 2017- 2018 team. We were the NCAA Division III National Champions this past season (2016 – 2017). We have won our league (NEHC) 18 out of 19 years, made 17 trips to the NCAA Tournament, 12 trips to the Final Four and won 4 National Championships, 2000, 2003, 2010 & 2017. The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey league has been very good to Norwich!
