PETRUIC LEADS TERRIERS PAST BRUINS

Chantz Petruic scored twice more on Wednesday, as the Yorkton Terriers got by the visiting Estevan Bruins 3-1 in Wednesday’s night’s lone SJHL matchup.

Petruic scored his 36th and 37th goals of the season, giving him now 70 points on the season, 18 more than anyone else.

Estevan’s Caleb Petrie scored his first SJHL goal, short-handed in the third period to cut the deficit to one, before Steven Norum put the game away for Yorkton with a late empty-netter.

Ryan Ouelette picked up the win, making 30/31 saves for the Terriers (20-14-1-0), while Keenan Rancier stopped 31/33 shots in goal for the Bruins (11-15-2-1).
