The Melville Millionaires are right in the mix of a tightly contested playoff race for the 8th and final spot. The are going to need to go on a bit of a run with Notre Dame’s four games in hand. They’re going to need Nicolas Samson to continue his electric scoring pace to do so. No one in the SJHL had more points than Samson in January, picking up 16 points in 10 games.

If you’re not already used to Parker Jasper, you better get acquainted. The 2003-born rookie D-man is already on the top pairing for the smothering Yorkton Terriers in his first full SJHL season. He combines elite defensive play with offensive instincts that are now blossoming at a young age.
Jasper had just one point in his first 19 games this season.
