PLAYERS OF THE MONTH (November)

RBC SJHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH:  Greyson Reitmeier, Flin Flon Bombers
1996 F Greyson Reitmeier (Nakusp BC) collected points in all nine games during the month of November, including goals in three of his last four to end the month.  Among the highlights was a hat trick against Kindersley on November 24th that sparked a run of six points in three games, although that scoring average was par for the course with Reitmeier, who ended the month with 8-goals and 10-assists in 9-games played.  He entered December with 13-goals and 19-assists in 27-games.  Runner-up:  Dakota Boutin, Melfort.

IBAS SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH:  Tyler Podgorenko, Notre Dame Hounds
1996 D Tyler Podgorenko (Nelson BC) continued his torrid offensive pace in November by registering 3-goals and 10-assists in 11-games played.  Podgorenko had three multiple point games, including a three point effort against Nipawin on Remembrance Day.  The SJHL’s defenseman scoring leader for the season, had 10-goals and 20-assists in 28-games heading into December.  Runner-up:  Josh Rieger, Estevan.

SASKTEL SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH:  Zac Robidoux, Flin Flon Bombers
1996 G Zac Robidoux (Winnipeg MB) was a brick wall in the month of November, winning four of his five starts, including back to back shutouts against Melville and Kindersley on November 20th and 24th.  He had a 1.00-GAA and .950-SPCT in November and goes into December with an overall mark of 8-3-and-2 with a 2.16-GAA and .920-SPCT.  He also has three shutouts.  Runner-up:  Taryn Kotchorek, Battlefords.

SJHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH:  Adam Dawe, Notre Dame Hounds
1999 F Adam Dawe (Gander NL) rifled five goals and nine assists in nine games played during the month of November, registering points in twelve straight games and seventeen of eighteen, dating back into October.  Dawe had goals in five of six games stretching from November 8-19 and had five multiple point games.  Slated to play at University of Maine next Fall, Dawe ends November with 13-goals and 24-assists in 26-games played.  Runner up:  Michael McChesney, Estevan.
