SGEU MVP of the Week: Reilley Kotai, Melfort Mustangs

A second MVP of the Week award for Kotai, and it seems these days the question isn’t whether the big winger will have a big game each night; the only question is ‘how big?’. The league’s new points leader has 15 points in his last four games, nine of which came in three games this past week.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 6 G, 3 A, 9 PTS

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Anthony Campbell, Battlefords North Stars

The Quebec-born centreman came alive this past week after a bit of a slow November. He had two and three-point games in a weekend split vs. Weyburn, in which the Stars moved back up to second place in the league and earned three of a possible four points.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 4 G, 2 A, 6 PTS

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Jordan Grill, Battlefords North Stars

The long-time Stars’ blue liner has always been a terrific defender, but he has really blossomed offensively this campaign. He put up a career-high five-point night in Saturday’s big win over Weyburn, and he continues solidifying himself as one of the elite all-around defencemen in the SJHL.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 1 G, 6 A, 7 PTS

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Spencer Borsos, Notre Dame Hounds

Win or lose for the young Hounds, Borsos has been massive all year long. A magnificent, league season-high 57-save night in a win Saturday in Humboldt was self-described as one of the performances of his career, and the Calgary kid has been front and centre in a four-game unbeaten run for Notre Dame.
Weekly Stats: 2 starts, 1-0-0-1 record, .928 SV%, 3.36 GAA

IKS Media Rookie of the Week: Avery Johnson, Kindersley Klippers

The highly-touted recent acquisition from the AJHL was held pointless until he exploded for four in one night in the Klippers’ big win over the Humboldt Broncos at home on Friday. His presence has made an immediate impact on the Kindersley power play.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 0 G, 4 A, 4 PTS

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Finley Radloff, Nipawin Hawks (from Nipawin, Sask)

Two big wins over Estevan this past week at home have rejuvenated the fan base in Nipawin, and as with most of the good things from that organization this year, Captain Finley is right in the middle of it. He notched his second career SJHL hat trick in Friday’s win.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 3 G, 1 A, 4 PTS
