SGEU MVP of the Week: Anthony Campbell, Battlefords North Stars

The Battlefords North Stars needed a big weekend at home vs. Estevan to hold on to sixth place, and they did just that with two emphatic wins. Campbell, whose partnership with Josh Knittig and Seth Dragan has borne immediate fruit, has just had a brilliant second half and dominated the week production-wise while winning 57% of his faceoffs.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 5 G, 2 A, 7 PTS

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Grayden Perozni, La Ronge Ice Wolves

The Ice Wolves had a busy week while hoping to stay alive in the playoff hunt, and with four of a possible six points, they did just that. Perozni did his part with a four-point night in Nipawin last week and could be a huge piece the rest of the way and next year for Kevin Kaminski’s team.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 2 G, 3 A, 5 PTS

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Kaelen Whittingham, Estevan Bruins

The veteran Bruins defender, Whittingham, has quietly had a monster season and was a consistent producer this week, including another win over the lowly Notre Dame Hounds. Time is running short on his junior career, but any school would be fortunate to pick up this big-bodied 2004-born defenceman!
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 1 G, 2 A, 3 PTS

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Kristian Coombs, Melfort Mustangs

Melfort cemented its hold on No. 1 overall in the league standings this past week, and Coombs was in the net for all of it as they took three of a possible four points in a home-and-home with No. 2 Flin Flon. Coombs only allowed one goal in 125 minutes against the potent Bombers attack, and his massive season continues.
Weekly Stats: 2 starts, 1-0-0-1, .986 SV%, 0.48 GAA, 1 SO

IKS Media Rookie of the Week: Graham Brown, La Ronge Ice Wolves

The Ice Wolves’ maintenance of their playoff hopes has certainly been a team effort, but there is a great argument that the largest portion of credit for it goes to Brown. His 39-save shutout Sunday evening vs. Kindersley was massive, and he has six +.912 save percentage games in a row.
Weekly Stats: 3 starts, 2-0-1-0, .952 SV%, 1.66 GAA, 1 SO

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Rylan Williams, Battlefords North Stars (from Kyle, Sask)

Williams spread out his points evenly over the two big wins vs. Estevan and continues to be one of the top two-way forwards in the SJHL. He and Elijah Anderson have formed a nice partnership, and in the nick of time, the Stars have been hit by the injury bug once again.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 PTS
