SGEU MVP OF THE WEEK: Holden Doell, Battlefords North Stars.

Only five games were played over the course of the week due to postponements across the SJHL. The Battlefords North Stars were one of two teams this week to play a pair of games.

They first shutout the Kindersley Klippers 3-0 on Friday night, before an electric, back-and-forth, 5-4 overtime victory in the rematch on Saturday. Doell picked up a goal and an assist on Saturday, including the overtime winner.

The youngster stopped all 28 shots faced for his first career SJHL shutout over the Kindersley Klippers.

A smaller stature goalie compared to other netminders across the league, but not one to overlook.
