SGEU MVP of the Week: Angelo Zol, Weyburn Red Wings

Zol was the biggest snub for a league award finalist, and he responded the right way this past week, allowing a single goal over two huge wins for the Wings. Even with the game way out of hand at Notre Dame, he still had a bunch of big saves to make, and then shut down the white hot Melville Millionaires two nights later.
Weekly Stats: 2 starts, 2-0-0-0, .983 SV%, 0.50 GAA, 1 SO

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Reilley Kotai, Melfort Mustangs

Three games, three points each this past week, in three more victories for Melfort. The SJHL scoring title is coming down to the final weekend with five points between the Top 4. Kotai is No. 2 at time of writing, two behind Yorkton captain Jaron Desnoyers!
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 5 G, 4 A, 9 PTS

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Luke Lepper, Flin Flon Bombers

The smooth-skating Lepper is quietly having a monster year, and with points in both wins over Battlefords this past weekend, he looks to keep his engine running heading into the post-season despite the fact the Bombers know they will finish second.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 PTS

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Cody Jaman, Kindersley Klippers

One of the more remarkable stories in the league lately has been the turnaround of veteran Kindersley goaltender Cody Jaman. The 20-year-old carried the load in March, delivered three wins out of four games, and only gave up five goals in that span. Wins over Notre Dame and Humboldt this past weekend mean Kindersley is in a great position to capture the final playoff spot up for grabs.
Weekly Stats: 2 starts, 2-0-0-0, .946 SV%, 1.45 GAA

IKS Media Rookie of the Week: Luke Dekay, Weyburn Red Wings

The younger Dekay on the Weyburn line-up has occasionally gotten lost in all the Weyburn fire power, but he broke out this week with four points in a laugher against Notre Dame and added an assist at home to Melville.
Weekly Stats: 3 GP, 2 G, 3 A, 5 PTS

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Dazza Mitchell, Humboldt Broncos (from Regina, Sask)

The Dazza Mitchell revenge tour continues with a vengeance in the Humboldt net, as the Regina-born veteran has a 2.44 GAA and a .931 save percentage in Green and Gold. He didn’t have a very stressful Saturday with Notre Dame in town, but he made the saves he needed to. Before, he was barely outduelled by Jaman Sunday.
