CANALTA HOTELS SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  MacGregor Sinclair, Battlefords North Stars
1998 F MacGregor Sinclair (Irma AB) scored four goals and three assists in three games played this past week.  He had all three of his team’s goals on Friday night in a 3-2 decision over Notre Dame.  He scored one and set up another in a 3-2 shootout win over Humboldt on Saturday.  He also had two assists in a 4-3 shootout victory over Kindersley on Tuesday.  He factored in on 7 of his club’s 8 regulation time goals this past week.  Runner-up:  Brandan Arnold, Nipawin.

IBAS SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK:  Clayton Eisler, Melville Millionaires
1997 D Clayton Eisler (Edmonton AB) erupted for 8-points in 3-games played this past week, all of them Millionaire victories.  Eisler set up the tying goal as well as the overtime winner against Humboldt on Wednesday.  He was also a driving force in two wins over Yorkton on the weekend, scoring twice and setting up another on Friday and then getting the game winner and two assists in a home ice win on Saturday.  Eisler now has 7-goals and 11-assists in 27-games.  Runner-up:  Josh McDougall, Nipawin.

SASKTEL SJHL GOALIE OF THE WEEK:  Jake Anthony, Nipawin Hawks
1999 G Jake Anthony (Grande Prairie AB) made three starts last week, winning all of them, posting a 1.33-GAA and .939-SPCT over the course of the time period.  Anthony stopped 20-of-21 against Estevan Tuesday night before making back to back starts against La Ronge on the weekend, stopping 23-of-24 on Friday and 19-of-21 on Saturday.  Anthony is 6-2-and-1 with a 1.76-GAA and .933-SPCT this year.  Runner-up:  Matt Lukacs, Estevan.

MYSASK 411 SJHL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:  Cody Bruchkowski, Yorkton Terriers
1999 F Cody Bruchkowski (Cochenour ON) picked up a goal and three assists in three games played last week and has been a consistent performer for the cellar dwelling Yorkton Terriers.  Bruchkowski had two assists on Wednesday night when the Terriers pulled off an upset win over Melfort.  He found the scoresheet with a goal against Melville on Friday and an assist against the Mils on Saturday.  Bruchkowski has 8-goals and 10-assists in 20-games on the year.  Runner-up:  Montana Streit, Melville.
