SGEU MVP of the Week: Dustin Renas, Yorkton Terriers

Fresh off an excellent performance at the Western All-Star Showcase, Renas did not miss a beat this weekend with points in both the Terriers’ victories in North Battleford. Only three out of 19 games so far this year have seen the 2005-born Renas without at least a single point.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 PTS

Bourgault Forward of the Week: Marko Djordjevic, Notre Dame Hounds

Djordjevic has mostly inexperienced players around him, which makes his consistency this season even more impressive. A three-point night helped the Hounds earn a much-needed win Saturday in La Ronge, and he extended his vast league lead in face-offs taken and won.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 1 G, 3 A, 4 PTS

SuperU Defenceman of the Week: Boston Harkness, Melville Millionaires

The Money Men had their first real blip of the season this past weekend, but not without a tremendous effort from the White City, SK-resident Harkness. Harkness posted two points in Estevan Friday and added a power-play goal at home to the Humboldt Broncos Saturday.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 1 G, 2 A, 3 PTS

Sasktel Goalie of the Week: Ethan Farrow, Yorkton Terriers

Farrow played every minute of Yorkton’s two-game weekend sweep in Battlefords and has won four starts in a row, with save percentages north of .918 in each of those victories. There sure are some elite goaltenders in the Viterra Division, and two of them play for the Yorkton Terriers.
Weekly Stats: 2 starts, two wins, 2-0-0-0, 2.88 GAA, .931 SV%

IKS Media Rookie of the Week: Brady Holtvogt, Humboldt Broncos

Another week, another impressive performance from the 2007-born local boy in net for the Broncos. Holtvogt stopped 31 shots Saturday in Melville to help Humboldt down the Mils 3-2 in a shootout. He truly has not put a foot wrong since he arrived from the Western Hockey League.
Weekly Stats: 1 start, one win, 1-0-0-0, 1.85 GAA, .939 SV%

Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week: Braden Nienaber, Battlefords North Stars (from Saskatoon, Sask)

The early November home stand was not kind to the North Stars, but Nienaber’s play has been an obvious bright spot. He has scored points in three straight games and notched his first career multi-goal game Saturday vs. Yorkton.
Weekly Stats: 2 GP, 3 G, 1 A, 4 PTS
