For the third episode of our 2025-26 SJHL RBC Community Ambassadors, we highlight Connor Miller of the Humboldt Broncos.

RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to the communities where they play. Each Ambassador is celebrated at an RBC Game Night and honoured with an RBC donation to a school in their local community.

SJHL fans will be able to vote online for the RBC Community Ambassador of their choice to be honoured as the recipient of the RBC Community Award at the end of the SJHL regular season. This additional honour is accompanied by a further donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.

While Connor was recently traded to the Flin Flon Bombers, his commitment to the Humboldt community the last three seasons has been undeniable.

Connor’s $1,000 donation from RBC will go to St. Augustine School in Humboldt, SK.

According to the Broncos, the Lipton, SK native:

gave back and represented the Humboldt Broncos with integrity, positivity, and genuine care for others. Connor is consistently one of the first players to step up when community support is needed. He volunteers at local schools, the Humboldt Soup Kitchen, Futuristic Industries, senior homes, and a wide variety of community events. No matter the task, Connor shows up with a positive attitude and a sincere smile, making meaningful connections with everyone he interacts with. His generosity of time and spirit reflects the heart of our organization.

Connor also demonstrated exceptional leadership through his involvement with our Movember campaign, finishing as the top fundraiser in the entire SJHL. His efforts helped bring awareness to men’s health and inspired both teammates and fans to get involved.

Miller has been credited with:

• being a natural leader in every sense. He is mature beyond his years, highly reliable, and fully committed to both his team and his community. On the ice, he leads by example through his work ethic, accountability, and calm presence in all situations. Off the ice, he embodies the qualities of a true role model—respectful, driven, team-focused, and consistently putting others first. Connor was raised with strong values, and it shows in how he carries himself every day. He represents the Humboldt Broncos with pride and professionalism, making him an exceptional candidate for the RBC Community Ambassador Award.
