For the ninth episode of our 2025-26 SJHL RBC Community Ambassadors, we highlight Stein Dostal of the Kindersley Klippers.
RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to the communities where they play. Each Ambassador is celebrated at an RBC Game Night and honoured with an RBC donation to a school in their local community.
SJHL fans will be able to vote online for the RBC Community Ambassador of their choice to be honoured as the recipient of the RBC Community Award at the end of the SJHL regular season. This additional honour is accompanied by a further donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.
Stein’s $1,000 donation from RBC will go to Westberry School in Kindersley, SK.
According to the Klippers, the Juneau, AK native:
is a great role model in our community; his attitude is exemplary, and we receive many messages about the positive impact he has. Any time there’s a volunteer opportunity, Stein is eager to be involved. He is also a college student taking classes this season while managing workouts/our full schedule.
Stein has been credited with:
volunteering at the local school and regularly assisting with minor hockey practices. He is a dedicated leader in the team’s hockey school program and also supports elderly residents by helping with snow shovelling.
