For the fourth episode of our 2024-25 SJHL RBC Community Ambassadors, we highlight Tylan Henrikson of the Yorkton Terriers.

RBC Community Ambassadors are recognized for making a difference and giving back to the communities where they play. Each Ambassador is celebrated at an RBC Game Night* and will be honoured by a donation from RBC to a school in their local community.

SJHL fans will be able to vote online for the RBC Community Ambassador of their choice to be honoured as the recipient of the RBC Community Award at the end of the SJHL regular season. This additional honour is accompanied by an additional donation from RBC in the player’s name to a school in their local community.

Tylan’s $1,000 donation from RBC will go to Foam Lake Elementary School in Foam Lake, SK.

According to the Terriers, the Foam Lake, SK. native has “has committed hundreds of hours off the ice. Helping Minor Hockey teams with training and coaching , supporting fundraising clubs, promoting the Terriers and the SJHL through league sponsored programs , like Tim Hortons Smile cookie initiatives and Timbits hockey.”

“Tylan has the ability to impact other people and be somebody that others want to emulate. He is a passionate, selfless and humble young man that always put others before himself.”
