Weyburn Red Wings forward Braigh LeGrandeur has committed to the University of Alberta at Augustana for the 2024-25 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference campaign.
LeGrandeur, 20, hails from Lethbridge, AB, and has played in 147 regular and playoff games for the Red Wings at the time of writing. He has posted 59 points in that span.
“Braigh is a three-year guy who has grown a ton since coming to Weyburn. He’s been a huge part of our growth as an organization, and I’m very proud that we can announce today that he is going to continue his hockey career.“ – said head coach and general manager Cody Mapes to Red Wings social media.
The Augustana Vikings are located in Camrose, Alberta, and this past campaign, they featured six SJHL alumni on their roster.
