Northland College Hockey would like to announce the commitment of Nipawin Hawks Defensemen, Nicholas Riemer.

“The biggest thing about this commitment for us is that we have a player that understands community and commitment. He is exactly what we need right now. When we travelled to Nipawin we experienced that first hand. He is a hockey players hockey player, he has a tremendous upside.
Coach Johnson, his staff, and community do an unbelievable job with the Hawks and promoting them on, they are one of the premier Tier I Junior A franchises in Canada and it’s a good addition for our program. We need Nicholas to step in and contribute as a freshmen and he will, he is a quality person and fantastic player.”
Northland College is a NCAA Division 3 College in Wisconsin that competes in the NCHA.

The Nipawin Hawks are very proud to announce that Nicholas Riemer has committed to Northland College. Nic has been a model citizen for the Nipawin Hawks the past 3 years. He’s an incredible hockey player that improved every day and pushed his limits to make him a better player. More importantly Nic is an even better person who exemplifies character. We wish Nic nothing but the best and know that Northland will be a much better place both on and off the ice with Nic part of their program. Congratulations Nic and Good Luck in your new endeavour!
