REGINA, SK – Four out of five winners on a busy night bounced back Saturday from defeats on Friday.

Jacob Strizzi extended his goal-scoring streak to six games to pace a balanced and relentless Humboldt Broncos attack to a 9-3 victory at home over the Battlefords North Stars.

Ewen Rennie scored twice and Kyle Kelsey was terrific again in net as the Estevan Bruins downed the Kindersley Klippers 4-2 at the Inter Pipeline Arena in Kindersley.

Loic Morin picked up his first shutout of the season, and Jadon Iyogun picked up two goals to lead the Melville Millionaires to a 5-0 win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves in the north.

In Melfort, Nicholas Andrusiak posted three assists as the defending champion Mustangs beat the Flin Flon Bombers 4-1 at the Northern Lights Palace.

The only team to win both their games this weekend was the Weyburn Red Wings, who got a brilliant performance from Angelo Zol and two hat tricks – from Ethan Dekay and Jaxson Ruthven – to outlast the Yorkton Terriers 6-4 in a wild one at Crescent Point Place.
