REGINA, SK – Taite Donkin led the Ice Wolves with a goal and three assists and La Ronge closed the gap for the final playoff spot on Kindersley to four points with a 4-2 victory Saturday.

La Ronge was assisted by the Battlefords North Stars, who, by way of an Elijah Anderson hat trick, downed the Kindersley Klippers 5-2.

Ben Laurette stopped 32 shots, and Simon Parini notched a pair of goals. The Melville Millionaires extended their win streak to nine games with a 3-1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers.

The victory moved the Mils within five points of idle Weyburn for fourth place.

In Humboldt, the Melfort Mustangs earned a measure of revenge from Friday night by way of a 4-3 triumph at the Elgar Petersen Arena over the Broncos.

Rookie Tristin Ziola paced the under-strength Mustangs with a pair of goals, and Kristian Coombs made 36 stops in the win.

Finally, the Nipawin Hawks stayed hot on their southern swing, as Finley Radloff’s two-goal, three-point night helped pace the club to a dominant 7-2 victory over the Estevan Bruins.
