REGINA, SK – Ewan Rennie led the way with two goals and three assists, and the Estevan Bruins rolled to a 7-2 win Saturday over the Warman Wolverines.
While Flin Flon is well ahead in the league in home-team wins, the Bruins are No. 2 and have won 14 of their 20 games at Affinity Place this year. They have a goal differential of +27 in those contests.
The Bruins outscored the Wolverines 16-3 over the weekend set.
Elsewhere in Melfort, it was all Battlefords as the North Stars, arguably the league’s hottest team, won their sixth in a row with a 6-1 victory over the Mustangs.
Josh Knittig and Alessio Nardelli both scored a pair while Kaeden Serpa made 41 stops in the victory.
