REGINA, SK – The Flin Flon Bombers got goals from six different forwards and improved to a perfect 16-0 at home on the year as they downed the Yorkton Terriers 6-3 Saturday.

Four separate Bombers contributed a goal and an assist in the win, while Charlie Tritt earned the victory in net in his first appearance since Flin Flon acquired him from Humboldt at the trade deadline.

Gabriel Courchesne responded with a pair of tallies for the Terriers.

In Battlefords, the North Stars had their seven-game win streak snapped as Warman captain Vinny Palmarin scored twice, including 23 seconds into overtime, to hand the Wolverines a 6-5 win.

Three of Palmarin’s seven goals on the year have been game-winners.

Nicholas Goodwin made 38 stops for his first career SJHL victory.

Carter Bergen also scored twice, while Trey Markus had a goal and three assists for Warman.

The Ice Wolves scored three times in the third period, including Brock Inglis’ winner with 31 seconds remaining in regulation, to lift La Ronge to a 4-3 comeback win vs. the Kindersley Klippers.

Dayton Tailfeathers was the game-high scorer with a goal and a pair of helpers.

Melfort continued its late-season push towards the post-season as Tristin Ziola’s third-period marker held up as the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings.

The defending champs have now won three in a row and sit five points back of Humboldt and the final playoff spot.

Those Broncos did their part, however, as Brady Holtvogt notched his second career SJHL shutout and Tyce Penrod led the way with a goal and an assist en route to a 3-0 win vs. the Melville Millionaires.

Owen Chapman’s first-period marker was the winner.
