REGINA, SK – The Highway 10 and Viterra Division rival Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires kept pace with each other with 5-2 wins in their games against the Kindersley Klippers and Notre Dame Hounds, respectively, while the Battlefords North Stars won their first game of the year with a resounding 6-1 win at home over the Nipawin Hawks.

The defending Canterra Seeds Cup champion Melfort Mustangs also remained unblemished on the campaign as Kristian Coombs made 33 stops en route to a come-from-behind 2-1 win in Weyburn vs. the Red Wings.

Finally, it was the Flin Flon Bombers who exacted a measure of revenge from Friday night’s La Ronge overtime win, as they took down the Ice Wolves 5-2 at the Mel Hegland Uniplex led by two goals from assistant captain Keefe Gruener.
