REGINA, SK – Will Munro notched four assists and Aidan Mohan had his first career two-goal game as the Weyburn Red Wings clinched their playoff spot with a resounding 8-1 win over the Kindersley Klippers Saturday.

The Wings became the fifth team to book their ticket to the post-season after Yorkton and Nipawin did so a night ago.

Weyburn’s Josh Sale scored in his sixth straight game, while Nate Stevens made 28 stops in the victory.

In Flin Flon, the Bombers continued their bid for a perfect home season by edging the Melville Millionaires 5-4 on Leo Seitz’s overtime marker.

The Manitoban club improved to 22-0 at the Whitney Forum this season, though the Mils gave them everything they could handle, outshooting them 33-31.

Charlie Tritt made 29 stops in the win, his seventh in nine Flin Flon appearances since the trade from Humboldt.

The road point did move the Moneymen into seventh ahead of Estevan.

Cam Sarna scored the winner at 9:16 of the third period, and Griffin Wright made 33 saves as the Warman Wolverines edged the Estevan Bruins 2-1.

Riley Rich-Holden led the way with a goal and an assist on the night for the Wolverines.

Bo Eisner’s third-period power play goal proved the difference, and the Melfort Mustangs pulled out a wild 5-3 win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves, Melfort’s eighth victory in a row.

Dru Mushumanski was the game-high scorer with two goals and a helper, and has nine points over his five-game point streak.

Eisner has four goals in his last four games and has 13 points over his own eight-game streak.

The win held Melfort in sixth place.

Finally, in Nipawin, Eric Hoiness notched his sixth multi-point game of February with a goal and two helpers to help the Hawks down the Humboldt Broncos 7-3.

Nipawin captain Finley Radloff picked up an assist in his 200th career SJHL game, all with the Hawks.

Braeden Jockims also added a pair of goals to help the club move into a tie for third with idle Yorkton, though the Terriers have two games in hand.
