SATURDAY RECAP: Wings push unbeaten streak to 12

NORTH BATTLEFORD, SK – The Weyburn Red Wings went a perfect 2-for-2 on the power play, and Ethan Dekay’s goal 6:14 into the third period held up as the winner as they pushed their unbeaten run to 12 games with a 3-2 win over the Kindersley Klippers.

In a neutral-site game in Churchbridge, SK, the Yorkton Terriers got two power-play goals from Keenan Ingram to climb into fourth in the standings from a 4-2 victory over the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

Marik Mamic led the way with two goals and an assist, and the Humboldt Broncos outlasted the Melville Millionaires 6-3 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Finally, in North Battleford, the North Stars scored two late goals to force overtime and took down the Notre Dame Hounds 4-3 via a Jordan Grill winner 30 seconds into the extra frame.
