SEVEN STRAIGHT: BRUINS BLANK TERRIERS

MEGER POSTS FIRST SJHL SHUTOUT

Curtis Meger stopped all 37 shots he faced for his first SJHL shutout as the Estevan Bruins made it seven straight victories as they blanked the visiting Yorkton Terriers 5-0 on Tuesday night.

The Bruins (15-3-0-1) now hold an eight point lead in the Viterra Division and are first overall in the league.

Lynnden Pastachak scored two first period goals less than four minutes apart, giving him 12 on the season.  Michael McChesney (1g-1a), Isaac Embree and Hayden Guilderson did the rest of the scoring.

The Terriers (5-9-3-0) are now winless in their last five.
