The SJHL Showcase wrapped up Wednesday in Warman with a pair of games.
The Melville Millionaires and La Ronge Ice Wolves gave scouts and fans a little extra home at the end of the event, needing extra time as the Ice Wolves edged the Millionaires 3-2 (OT).
Grant Longtin scored the winner exactly two minutes into bonus time, his second of the game, after opening the scoring 2:08 into the game. Jordan Mish added a powerplay goal, Dylan Thackeray had two assists and Liam McGarva made 31/33 saves for the Ice Wolves (2-5-0-0).
Ryan Butler scored his first of the year for the Millionaires (2-2-1-1), and Nic Porterfield added his 7th of the season in his 8th game. Hunter Adams was busy in goal, stopping 42/45 shots.

Thursday morning started with Humboldt earning a 4-1 win over Yorkton, with Michael Harroch picking up his first SJHL victory stopping 37 of the 38 shots he faced.
Max Gudnason had a goal and an assist for Humboldt (3-2-0-1), while Tristan Shewchuk and Logan Foster kept their strong starts to the season going, each with goals, and Bryson Cecconi rounded out the scoring.
Chantz Petruic provided the only goal for the Terriers (1-5-0-0) with Alec Zawatsky setting it up. Those two have both been in on all three goals the Terriers have scored since Zawatsky joined the team. Cooper Kennedy faced 53 shots in the Terrier crease, making 49 saves.
