REGINA, SK – The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is pleased to welcome Nick Shumlanski as its new Director of Marketing and Partnerships. Nick holds a Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, and attended the University of Prince Edward Island while competing in USports.
Nick, an SJHL alumnus, played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League from 2015 to 2018 with the Flin Flon Bombers and the Humboldt Broncos, and worked as a marketing salesman with Harvard Media and, more recently, as a transition associate with Wellington Altus Private Wealth. Nick has been a long-time follower and proud supporter of the SJHL.

A native of Tisdale, SK, the now 28-year-old played in 175 SJHL regular-season and 43 playoff games, posting 148 regular-season points, and 25 in the post-season.
Nicholas will join the SJHL team on April 13, 2026, and will reach out to our league’s existing and new partners shortly thereafter.
