SJHL Hounds’ alum Anderson named assistant captain at Princeton (NCAA Div I)

Notre Dame's Kevin Anderson led the league in points in the month of February.

Notre Dame Hounds Junior A and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League alumnus Kevin Anderson has been named an assistant captain of the Princeton University Tigers of NCAA Division I.

Anderson, 22, posted 85 points in 70 SJHL contests for ND between 2019 and 2022. He was named to the SaskMilk SJHL All-Rookie Team in the 2021-2022 campaign.

A native of Regina, SK, he is entering his senior year at the Ivy League school, and has featured in 54 NCAA Division I contests to date.

Anderson graduated from the College of Notre Dame in 2022, and represented Saskatchewan at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, AB alongside current Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cole Sillinger, and current Chicago Blackhawks defenceman Nolan Allan.
