Benny Walchuk, the voice of the Yorkton Terriers, joins Co-Director of Media Jamie Neugebauer to look back at the last time a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League squad won the Junior A National Championship.
It was 2014, the Terriers had just come off an SJHL title in which they had defeated their rival Melville Millionaires in the final. They squeezed past the Manitoba champs Dauphin Kings in the Western Canada Cup, then had an RBC Cup to remember.
