REGINA, SK – The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is proud to introduce an all-new media feature: the Canalta Hotels Friday Night Spotlight, presented by IKS Media.
This bi-weekly broadcast series will showcase one of the league’s marquee Friday night matchups, providing fans with unparalleled insight and access into the SJHL’s top teams, players, and storylines. Hosted by Jamie Neugebauer and Clark Munroe, the show delivers in-depth analysis, exclusive interviews, and statistical breakdowns — giving fans everything they need to know before the puck drops.
The Friday Night Spotlight will air 30 minutes before game time, streaming live on FloHockey, as well as on the SJHL YouTube channel and Facebook page.
The goal with Friday Night Spotlight is to give fans a true inside look at the passion, skill, and competition that make SJHL hockey so special. Every episode will bring a fresh energy and spotlight the incredible talent across the league.
This week’s debut episode features a high-octane matchup between the Nipawin Hawks and Humboldt Broncos, set for Friday, October 24th in Humboldt at 7:00 P.M. ST.
“The SJHL has some of the most passionate fans in the country,” added Co-Director of Media, Clark Munroe. “We can’t wait to bring them closer to the action and highlight the players and communities that make this league so unique. Plus, this gives us a chance to talk to the fans right up until puck drop with direct coverage of their favourite teams.”
The Canalta Hotels Friday Night Spotlight will run throughout the 2025–26 SJHL season, with new episodes dropping almost every other Friday night.
