REGINA, SK — The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is proud to announce that its 2025 Movember campaign raised an impressive $22,781, an increase of $1,588 from last year’s total. In just two years of league-wide participation, the SJHL has now contributed $43,974 toward Movember’s efforts to support men’s mental health, suicide prevention, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer awareness.
Leading the charge this year were the Yorkton Terriers, who emerged as the top fundraising team with a remarkable $4,330. Their team effort was spearheaded by standout contributions from Evan Auld ($650) and captain Tylan Henrikson ($400), whose leadership helped propel Yorkton to the top of the league.
The individual fundraising champion for 2025 was Humboldt Broncos forward Connor Miller, who collected an extraordinary $1,430 on his own. He has now raised well over $2,000 across the past two Movember campaigns, further cementing his place as one of the SJHL’s most dedicated advocates for men’s health, on top of being one of its top players.

This year’s campaign reflects the continued growth of Movember within the SJHL, with players and teams across the province embracing the importance of raising awareness and funds for vital men’s health initiatives. Commissioner Kyle McIntyre praised the effort, noting the meaningful impact SJHL athletes continue to make in their communities.
“This is the second season that the SJHL and its teams have decided to grow a mo to support a bro,” McIntyre said.
“I am proud of our teams and our players’ commitment to raising funds and, more importantly, raising awareness regarding testicular and prostate cancer. Hopefully, the attention that Movember brings will result in more men proactively taking part in screening and prevention.”
The SJHL extends its sincere thanks to all players, supporters, families, and partners who helped make the 2025 Movember campaign another tremendous success.
