SJHL’s Grimm to referee Centennial final

REGINA, SK – Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) official Josh Grimm has earned the honour of officiating Sunday’s 2026 Centennial Cup Final, Hockey Canada announced Saturday.

Grimm, who also works as a Realtor in Regina, will be joined by Quebec’s Emile Leblanc in wearing the armband. At the same time, Quebec’s Samuel Pare, and Nova Scotia’s Pierre-Olivier Couture are set to be the linesmen.

The host Summerside Capitals of the Maritime Hockey League will take on the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Niverville Nighthawks May 17 at 7:00 P.M. Atlantic Time, 4:00 P.M. in Saskatchewan on TSN+ and HNLive.

Grimm, who originally hails from Hodgeville, SK, just southeast of Swift Current, has been one of the top officials in the SJHL for several years now, and also works in the Western Hockey League and in USports.

He was selected from among the 16 officials originally selected by Hockey Canada to work the 2026 Junior A National championship.
