Shocking set back against Melville on Saturday.

Winless in 11 against Battlefords, Nipawin, and Weyburn. Otherwise, it’s been a fantastic season as they fly under the radar.

Back on track with two wins in a row after a brief hiccup after Christmas.

A weekend sweep along with the Bruins opening the door with a couple of losses pulls the Wings to within three points and still have two games in hand.

Battling some inconsistency, but still a very dangerous team on any given night as they are learning goals aren’t as easy to come by in the second half of the season.

One point ahead of Flin Flon for home ice advantage in the Survivor Series and they also have two games in hand on the Bombers.

Brenden Newton is 13-8-2-and-4, which tends one to think the Bombers would be a lot higher in the standings had he not been injured. They are 5-12-and-1 in games he doesn’t play.

Entz is giving them lights out goaltending at just the right time.
