The busy weekend in the SJHL wrapped up Sunday afternoon in Wilcox as the Battlefords North Stars blanked the Notre Dame Hounds 3-0.
Stars Captain Tanner Gold got the scoring started early in the first period and the defending SJHL champs would add markers in the 2nd and 3rd to earn their 24th victory of the season.
Goaltender Matthew MacArthur was perfect in his SJHL debut with the Stars, making 27 saves in the shutout victory.
These two teams will meet again next weekend in North Battleford.
