REGINA, SK – Dylan Adams made 48 stops in his first career SJHL shutout and the Estevan Bruins blanked the Humboldt Broncos 2-0 Sunday afternoon.
Bruins’ captain Rorey Elson’s third-period goal stood up as the winner and is the first game-winner of his 81-game SJHL career.
Elsewhere in Weyburn, the Red Wings rallied behind pairs from Luke Dekay and Callas Pierce to upend the Battlefords North Stars 5-2.
Nate Stevens made 36 stops en route to his sixth victory in eight starts for Weyburn.
Kaleb Dewar added two goals for Battlefords, and has three in his last two contests.
