REGINA, SK – Western All-Star Challenge-bound Rylan Hue notched a pair, including the game winner, and the Humboldt Broncos downed the Kindersley Klippers 4-1 Sunday afternoon.
Charlie Tritt made 20 saves for his league-leading 11th win, and his (and Humboldt’s) seventh in a row.
The Broncos and Klippers have played each other three times in the last two weeks, and the former has taken all three.
Elsewhere in Weyburn, it was the visiting Estevan Bruins who earned the weekend sweep over their Highway 39 rivals with a 6-4 triumph.
Dylan Adams stopped 39 shots in the win, while Drew Beasley added a pair of goals.
The teams combined for five goals on 15 power plays.
Veteran Josh Sale replied with two tallies for the Red Wings.
