REGINA, SK – Both the Yorkton Terriers and Humboldt Broncos earned sweeps of their respective divisional rivals Sunday.
In Weyburn, the Yorkton Terriers rallied from down 2-0 early on the road and parlayed another multi-point outing from Jaron Desnoyers into a 5-3 victory and a weekend sweep over the Red Wings. Desnoyers, the new Yorkton captain, ended the weekend with five goals and eight points in just two games.
Meanwhile in front of a full student section at the College of Notre Dame, it was the Broncos who brought the noise. Led by two goals and an assist from Tre Fouquette, head coach and general manager Brayden Klimosko’s men roared to a 7-1 victory over the Hounds in Wilcox.
