ASSINIBOIA, SK – Jaron Desnoyers notched the winner 12:14 into the second period; the Terriers added two empty netters and took sole possession of third place in the SJHL with a 4-1 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings Tuesday.

The Hounds were 56 seconds from earning a point against the first-place Mustangs before Melfort veteran Zac Somers broke their hearts with a power-play goal to hand the defending champions a 2-1 win at Notre Dame.

Finally, it was all Bombers in Flin Flon, as Ryder Mucha’s first two career goals led the way to an 8-2 victory for the hosts over the Nipawin Hawks.
