Former Notre Dame Hounds’ defenseman Spencer Trapp, nearing the end of his second full season with the NCAA Division I Holy Cross Crusaders, has been named to the All-AHC Conference team, the first defenseman from the Crusaders to receive such an honour in nine years.

Trapp is tied for first on the team with 16 assists and tied for fifth with 19 points. His 19 points are tied for sixth in the conference by defensemen. He also has three goals and has played in all 34 games. His 19 points are tied for 10th all-time by a defenseman in the program’s Division I history. For his career, Trapp has six goals and 26 assists for 32 career points. Trapp is the first Crusader defenseman to be named to the All-Atlantic Hockey team in nine years when Burke was selected to the third team in 2008.
