Keillan Olson scored two goals and an assist, and Thomas Lenchyshyn added three helpers and the Nipawin Hawks went into Yorkton and defeated the Terriers 6-2 on Tuesday night.

Carter Doerksen and Daven Smith added second period goals for the Hawks (7-1-1-1) before Olson, Brandan Arnold and Austin Mikesch added third period markers as Nipawin scored three powerplay goals.

Jake Anthony got the win, making 23/25 saves.

Cole Keenleyside (1g-1a) scored his first of the year for the Terriers (2-9-2-0) while Shane Sherban also hit the net.

The Notre Dame Hounds extended their lead at the top of the tight Olympic Buildings Division with a 5-3 win over the Melville Millionaires.

Chaz Smedsrud led the way with a goal and two assists, Chance Longjohn scored twice and added a helper, and Alec Zawatsky chipped in a pair of assists.  Tim Gould and Sam Robinson also scored and Jack Ryan made 18/21 saves.

The Millionaires (3-10-0-1) fell behind 3-0 after the first period and nearly clawed back.  Jaden Shewchuk and Cory Schillo scored second period goals to cut the deficit to one, and Trevor Paradise made it a one goal game again in the third but that was as close as they would get.  Colby Entz took the loss making 30/34 saves.

The Hounds (7-3-1-1) are now there points up on everyone else in the division, although Battlefords has five games in hand.
