Nick Trenciansky made 38 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season, and for the Kindersley Klippers it was their league-leading fifth shutout as a team, as they went into Humboldt and edged the Broncos 1-0 Tuesday night.

Sam Binfet scored 7:35 into the game and that was it for the offense as the Klippers (13-20-1-0) won their second straight.

Garrett Mason was also solid for the Broncos (18-13-0-1), making 35/36 saves.  Humboldt welcomed Logan Schatz and Trevor Posch back to the lineup Tuesday after extended absences.

The Nipawin Hawks ended a three game winless streak with a  5-2 win over the visiting Weyburn Red Wings.

The Hawks (14-10-2-1) had five different goal scorers, including Brett Harasymuk and Keillan Olson, who each scored their 10th of the season.  Daven Smith, Chad McCartney (1g-1a) and Josh McDougall (1g-1a) also scored and Kristian Stead made 22/24 saves.

Erik Olson and Ben Hiltz replied for the Red Wings (15-12-0-4) and Braden Mellon had a pair of assists.

The Red Wings continue north to Flin Flon on Wednesday, while Battlefords heads the La Ronge and Melville welcomes Notre Dame.
