The Melville Millionaires won their second straight game Tuesday, 6-2 over the visiting Weyburn Red Wings.

Jonathan Kraft and Jake Spak scored twice each, Luke Spadafora had a goal and two assists, and Dylan Thackeray added three helpers.  Jake Verstraete rounded out the scoring and Berk Berkeliev made 33/35 saves in goal for the Millionaires (7-13-2-2).  Spadafora is now fourth in the league in scoring, one point back of second place (24-10-26-36).

Rhett Fry (1g-1a) and Connor Karo did the scoring for the Red Wings (8-14-0-1) while Ben Hiltz assisted on both.

The Kindersley Klippers had a pair of leads at home, but the Yorkton Terriers scored two late third period goals to come from behind and beat the Klippers 3-2.

Jordan Guiney continued his night roll of late, scoring twice for the Terriers (13-10-1-0), tying the game with 4:08 remaining, before Chantz Petruic (1g-1a) potted the winner with just 57 seconds on the clock.  Petruic kept up his season long pace, with now 24-goals and 24-assists in 24-games.  Philippe Bond stopped 45 of the 47 shots he faced in the victory.

Scott McKenzie and Tyler Traptow each had a goal and an assist for the Klippers (7-12-2-1).

Yorkton’s in Battlefords to face the 22-1-0-0 Stars on Wednesday.  The Terriers are the only team to beat the Stars this season, and lost to them in overtime in North Battlefords 10 days ago.
