Berk Berkeliev made 36 saves for his first SJHL shutout, and the Melville Millionaires blanked the Notre Dame Hounds 2-0 on the road on Tuesday night.

Berkeliev boosted his save percentage to .947% on the season and lowered his goals against average to 1.87.

Rin Beny opened the scoring midway through the first period for the Millionaires (11-17-2-4), and Aidan Steinke added one more late in the second.

Riley Kohonick made 20/22 saves in goal for the Hounds (12-17-3-1).  The two teams are now tied for ninth in the overall standings, both four points back of Kindersley for the final playoff spot.

The Melfort Mustangs saw a 3-1 lead slip away, but came back to beat the La Ronge Ice Wolves 4-3 in a shootout.

The Mustangs (20-9-2-1) picked up their 20th win of the season, putting 50 shots on goal in the process.

Defenseman Lucas Ochitwa had a goal and an assist for Melfort, while Kenzie Arnold and Tyson Meyers added the others.  Isaac Alvarado and Zach Anderson both scored in the shootout, and Trevor Martin made 36/39 saves, plus went 22 in the shootout.

Liam McGarva made 47/50 saves in goal for the Ice Wolves (17-14-2-2).  Spencer Kennedy scored twice and Daylon Mannon tacked on his 22nd of the season.
